William Francis Boehme, 72, of Buffalo passed away peacefully at his home Friday morning, January 2, 2015.

He was born on July 11, 1942 in St. Paul Minnesota, the son of Lester and Helen Boehme. Bill graduated from St. Thomas Academy and attended Winona State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Nuclear Science. Bill had a successful career at NSP/Xcel Energy and retired 17 years ago where he enjoyed life between Florida and Minnesota.

Survived by: Children, David (Melissa) Boehme of Michigan, Dolores (Adam) Freitas of Edina, Dennis (Sheri) Boehme of Maple Grove; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; Brothers, Roger Boehme, Joann Gillespie, Doug Boehme, Steve Boehme and Tom Boehme.

Preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his mother Helen.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. all at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 300 1st Ave NW, Buffalo.
