We are here for you and are sending thoughts and prayers. Very few know the pain you are feeling but I do and if you need to talk let me know.
In the later part of 2016 I was a part of William’s life journey. I was impressed by his tenacity to endure to the very end. No matter what the obstacle William would find a way over it, around it, through it, or a way under it. When I met William’s parents not only were they great parents but did a top-flight job of parenting. Miss ya my friend.
So sorry for your loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
William
Kathy,
While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of your son at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses for which there is a painful reminder of what might have been.
We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss. May the outpouring of sympathy, the kind acts of friends and strangers and the comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many, help you through this difficult time.
May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived. I know that there isn’t anything we could say to take away the pain. But please know we are here for you, whatever you need.
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this awful time.
Kathy, no parent should ever have to bury a child. I cannot imagine the emotions you are feeling right now. As eloquently as I can, I want to provide a few words:
Please know He was loved.
Because he had You.
Because You had Him.
He still loves You.
He is watching over You.
Your guardian angel, now He is.
Let your tears fall.
They are symbols.
Of the life lost.
And memories had.
But never forgotten.
Tears today are sorrow filled.
Tears tomorrow still.
Future tears shall be joyful.
Because never forgotten.
Always Your son, He is.
All that I can muster, sending love and deepest heartfelt thoughts for you and your family. -DLH

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of coaching William when he was growing up. William a very smart person found the passion for skiing at a young age. He truly found the meaning of skiing. To improve when you can, challenge your self, and most importantly Have Fun! William did all very well. He is a great skier/person, very fun to observe skiing. Always happy. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to coach William.
Take care
Mike, Kathy & Renee,
Thinking of you during this most difficult time. Our heart aches truly in hearing this news… William’s smile uplifted everyone around him. He was an absolute joy to all of us!
May angels find you all during this time of need. We are here for you…
William was a nice young man. As his ski coach for many years, I saw him grow along with his love of skiing. He wanted to share that love with everyone. That made him a great ski instructor and coach for young aspiring racers. His Eagle Scout project at Powder Ridge, creating safe and dry storage bins for racing equipment will remain for years to come. Rest In Peace William. We’ll be sure to take a few laps in your honor.
William was a great young man. As one of his ski coaches, it was fun to see his love for the sport grow. He enjoyed every moment sharing his passion for skiing and ski racing with others. William will always be remembered at Powder Ridge where his Eagle Scout project building a safe and dry space for racing equipment is used daily. We will be sure to do a few laps in his honor.
To all my family and Williams friends the devastating loss of William has been hard to believe or understand. May everyone find the peace and strength to heal from this heart break.
My nephew, my godson, my friend, my blood and family you will always be part of me, with me, remembered by me, loved by me, and forever more missed by me. I am so sad to see you go, but so happy for the memories you have left me. Every phone call, visit and ride in my cars will be remembered and treasured for as long as I live and everyone that ever knew you and I together. Nothing will heal my heart from your loss or dry my eyes from the pain, but thoughts of you at my side shall always be etched in my mind. I love and miss you, and may your soul forever ski down the memories of us all. With all my love I say goodbye for now, Andi and I will miss you forever.
So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with all of you and for the safe travel of all family members.
