William “Bill” Robert Radintz, age 41, of St. Michael passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at J.A.Wedum Hospice House in Brooklyn Park.
He was born on November 4, 1976 in Robbinsdale the son of Paul & Diane (Lamphere) Radintz.
William was baptized on December 5th, 1976 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Maple Grove. He was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith by The Reverend Steven Briel on May 5th, 1991 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. His confirmation memory verse was John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
He graduated from Osseo Senior High School in 1995. Bill later graduated from The University of Minnesota in 1999 where he was an active fraternity brother of Alpha Gamma Rho.
On September 14, 2002, William R. Radintz and Lara C. Tessmer were joined in holy marriage at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield. God blessed their marriage with three children.
Bill was employed at Great Northern Equipment/JRCO, Inc. as a Sales Manager.
He enjoyed all genres of music and was a very talented drummer. Bill also loved his family deeply and enjoyed every activity the children were in as a devoted and proud father. Most importantly, Bill was a man of great faith in God, and strived to live his life accordingly.
Survived by his loving wife of fifteen years: Lara; children: Lilly, Audrey and Benjamin; his parents: Paul & Diane Radintz of Maple Grove; a brother: Theodore “Ted” (Rebecca) Radintz of Independence; his father-in-law & mother-in-law: James and Rachel Tessmer of Loretto; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Anna (Eric) Bramos of St. Michael, Jared Tessmer of Loretto and Maria (Nathan) Ekhoff of St. Michael; grandmother-in-law: Ruth Schultz of New Ulm; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Theodore, Alice, and Laura Radintz; maternal grandparents Lyle and Pauline Lamphere and by a niece Sofia Bramos.
Funeral Services for William “Bill” Radintz will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield. The Reverend Paul Schuler will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Cindy Steinke will be the organist for the funeral service.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 12th from 4-8 P.M. with a Prayer service at 7:30 P.M. AT THE CHURCH. Further visitation will be held on Friday morning, April 13th one hour prior to services at the church.
Casket Bearers will be Jared Tessmer, Eric Bramos, Nathan Ekhoff, Christopher Spiekermeier, John Crosland and Matthew Ruark.
