Visitation Information
William Anthony Arnold, age 80, of St. Michael, MN, and formerly of Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 4th at his residence.
He was born on March 19, 1930, in South Hampton, Long Island, NY, the son of Sebastian and Magdelena Schneider Arnold.
William honorably served his country in The United States Army. He retired after twenty-two years as a MSG E-8
On April 17, 1955, William A. Arnold and Edith M. Miller were joined in marriage at St. Philomena’s Church in East Hampton. God blessed their marriage with four children.
He enjoyed deer hunting, woodworking, furniture making, computers and watching western movies.
One of the best things in his life was being an American! Both of his parents were born in Germany, and he enjoyed the privileges of being a first generation American.
Survived by his loving wife of fifty five years: Edith M. Arnold; children: William (Carolyn) Arnold of Keller, Texas, Delena (Mark) Daleiden of St. Michael, Stephanie (Dave) Doty of Eagan and Caroleigh (Jay) Wiesenfelder of Little Rock, Arkansas; eight grandchildren: Anthony Arnold, Elizabeth Arnold, Andrew Arnold, Ezekiel Arnold, Ariana Daleiden, William Daleiden, Benjamin Wiesenfelder and Kathryn Wiesenfelder; brothers and a sister: Sebastian (Nancy) Arnold of Houston, Texas, Anita (Mike) Lennon of Belair, Maryland and Leander (Franziska) Arnold of East Hampton, New York; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Sebastian & Magdelena Arnold.
A Mass of Christian Burial for William Arnold will be held on Monday, July 12th at 1:00 pm at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 12th two hours prior to Mass at the church.
Casket Bearers will be his eight grandchildren.
