Wesley Floyd Puffer, age 56, of Buffalo passed away on September 18, 2022.

Wesley Floyd Puffer was born on January 3, 1966 in Buffalo, MN. His loving parents Richard (Dick) and Mary Puffer welcomed him home to meet his older brother Seth, and his sisters Brenda and Susie.

Wes married the love of his life Julie Dalton on May 24, 1986 at St. Francis Xavier in Buffalo MN.

Together they built a beautiful life and family with their three children, Andrew, Krystle, and Brandon, along with their five precious grandchildren Grayson, Cord, Cris, Shakayla, and Shaden all of whom Papa adored.

Julie and Wes are lifelong residents of Buffalo, and even shared childhood neighborhoods.

It seems there was never a Wes without Julie, or a Julie without Wes.

Those who knew and loved Wes were always prepared for his trademark one-liners, and sarcastic banter, which was the way he showed his endearment to others.

You could always find Wes tending to his yard or eager to lend a helping hand in his garage. If it needed fixing, Wes was your man.

Wes was a dedicated and committed truck driver for 36 years. He loved the time in his truck, and the connections he made with his coworkers and customers.

His family will love and miss him forever!

Wes is survived by his wife Julie of 36 years; his children: Andy (Anj), Krystle (Shadell) and Brandon; his five grandchildren; his brother: Seth (Susan) and sister: Brenda; his aunt: Margie Puffer and uncle Dwayne (Delores)Puffer; mother-in-law: Kay Dalton; brothers-in-law: Tim Dalton (Tina) and Dan Dalton (Joan); sister-in- law: Laurie Tweten (Cam); along with several nieces and nephews.   Wes is further survived by the amazing neighborhood friends who have become part of Julie and Wes’s family.

A very special thank you goes out to the neighbors who were there on the day when we needed them most!

A Prayer Service with a time of sharing will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, MN.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.   Further visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

    Julie and Family,
I was so sad when I heard of your loss. Words alone cannot comfort at times like these. May the memories you hold and the love that surrounds you sustain as you navigate the darkness and journey into a reality that is all to soon void of your Husband/Father/Grandfather/Brother/Sister/Friend……….
