Tronn Lee Paulson, age 49 of Annandale, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born in Monticello on January 12, 1969 to Merlin Paulson and Renee Ordorff.
Tronn was a 1987 graduate of Maple Lake High School. He worked at Maple Lake Lumber and Eull’s Manufacturing in St. Michael.
Tronn enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman all year round. He was a member of many rifle associations and enjoyed trapping, gardening and raising and releasing pheasants. He also enjoyed time spent with his family, friends, and his nieces and nephews who meant the world to him. His great joy was summer and ice fishing with his Mom, Renee.
He is preceded in death by his father, Merlin Paulson; grandparents, Lucille Ordorff and Walter and Frances Paulson; and his significant other, Lynn Anderson.
Tronn will be dearly missed by his mother, Renee and Tom Burchett of Buffalo; siblings, Tash (Jesse) Laudenbach of South Haven, Robert (Naomi) Burchett of Woodbury, Amanda (Nick) Kolasa of Buffalo, Sarah (Scott) Brady of Coon Rapids; grandfather, Ralph Ordorff of Buffalo; Aaron and Hunter Oslowski of McGrath; nieces and nephews (honorary casket bearers), Jadde and Laney Laudenbach, Jack and Luke Burchett, Ava and Logan Kolasa, Isabella and Justin Brady; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Music will be provided by the family’s special friend, Chris Vokaty. Tronn will also be deeply missed by his lab, Teslah.
Casket bearers are Doug Starry, Frankie Hoppe, Jeff Reilly, Kyle Karie, Leaman Jones, Milo Alama, Troy Schauf and Wayne Moline.
Funeral services for Tronn Paulson will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM, at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.

I lived next door to Tronn’s Grandparents. My parents were friends with Tronn, especially my father Tom Shaw. We spent many hunting seasons together and my brothers always looked up to him. You will be missed Tronn.

Sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen Tronn since I was a young kid when he would come and stay with us in our home in Waverly. He taught me a lot about fishing. Over the years he has crossed my mind many times and always wished I could have found him. Sleep well my old friend you’ll be missed by many.
