Tricia Leigh Jocelyn, a beautiful soul who radiated love, courage, and positivity, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born on October 17, 1977, in Minneapolis, MN. 

Tricia’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering spirit and a heart full of sparkle and shine. She graduated from Blaine High School with the class of 1996, where her warm personality and kind smile left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. On April 7, 2005, she exchanged vows in Florida with the love of her life, Kevin Jocelyn. 

Tricia found joy and purpose in her work as a pharmacy technician at Coborns, where her caring and compassionate nature extended beyond her personal life and into her professional relationships. She was known for her dedication and selflessness, always putting others first and making sure no one worried about her own battles. 

At home, Tricia was the epitome of a warm and welcoming spirit. She kept an immaculate house, taking pride in creating a beautiful and inviting space for her loved ones. Her home was adorned with an array of plants, which she could never have too many. She especially enjoyed decorating her home during the holidays, bringing cheer and magic to all who entered. 

Tricia was a beacon of friendship and sociability, making connections with everyone she encountered. Her magnetic personality drew people in, and her laughter and smile could light up any room. Tricia’s essence was defined by her spirited nature and her effervescent personality. She loved to dance, listen to her favorite musician, P!nk, and be a free spirit. Her aura radiated love and positivity.

Tricia is preceded in death by her father, Kerry Grant; grandparents, Ardelle Peterson, Floyd Peterson, Virginia “Gin” Grant, and Rollin Grant. 

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; children, Gavin, Lleyton, and Preston; mother, Taylor Carter; sister, Trelawny “Tawny” Grant; brother, Kerry “Ryan” Grant; mother-in-law, Marge Jocelyn; father-in-law, Wayne (Sandy) Jocelyn; brothers-in-law, Paul (Sharon) Jocelyn and Mark (Peggy) Jocelyn; sister-in-law, Kari (Chuck) Dwinnell; special friends, the Barthels: Mike, Trudi, Will, and Laney; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, 10/25/23, from 4:00-7:00 PM with brief prayer service at 6:00 PM at The Peterson Chapel (300 Main St. N, St. Michael, MN). Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10/26/23, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at the St. Michael Catholic Church (11300 Frankfort Pkwy NE, St. Michael, MN). Friends and family are encouraged to wear the color pink in honor of her and her favorite singer, or wear something bold and full of bling! The service will be livestreamed via the church website: https://www.stmcatholicchurch.org/

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville. Online condolences for the family may be directed to www.thepetersonchapel.com 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Grace Hospice of Minneapolis.
