Todd Douglas, age 48, of Dayton passed away on Monday, December 4th, 2017 at The University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born on January 19, 1969 in Coon Rapids the son of John & Janet H. (Vetsch) Dahlheimer. On March 23rd, 1997, Todd D. Dahlheimer and Pamela K. Waddell were joined in marriage in Puerto Rico. God blessed their marriage with two children. He was a lifelong, faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dayton and belonged to The Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed the outdoors fishing, hunting, hiking, hanging out on the river and making maple syrup just as his grandpa taught him. Todd was a collector of beer memorabilia and a beer connoisseur. He could give a detailed description of the ingredients and brewing process of any beer he came across. His pride and joy was his 1989 Mustang convertible. It is still in the pristine condition it was when he heard it arriving by train from across the country. He had a passion for music. He loved going to concerts and rocking out to music at home, in the car, on a tractor and especially in the barn with the cows. He also loved history, particularly family history. He could trace the family lineage back several generations and could tell you all of their names. Survived by his loving wife: Pam; children: Xander and Sarena; his father: John Dahlheimer; siblings: Sandy (Jay) Rock, Randy (Tammie) Dahlheimer, Michelle (Dave) Langefels and Jennifer (Chuck) Goede; grandfather: Merlin John Dahlheimer; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins further survive. Preceded in death by his mother Janet Helen Dahlheimer and by an infant brother John. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. Monday St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dayton. Visitation AT THE CHURCH Sunday 4-8 P.M. and on Monday one hour prior to Mass.
