November 17, 1955 – January 15, 2023

Thomas Shane Mandler, age 67 of Oakdale, MN passed away peacefully at St. John’s Hospital on Sunday, January 15, 2023. He was born November 17, 1955 in Austin, MN, the son of Harlan & Dorothy (Corcoran) Mandler.  He graduated in 1974 from Hayfield high-school. He was joined in marriage on April 22, 1978 to Nancy Bergeson, later divorced. God blessed their marriage with four children.  Thomas enjoyed family time, camping, hunting and fishing. He was very easy going and got along with everyone. He could fix anything and was always willing to help and offer advice. He was such a hard working man with great work ethic. We’ll miss his great sense of humor and adventurous personality.

Thomas is survived by his mother Dorothy Mandler;  his loving children; Kristina Mandler, Kari (Sheldon) Wolf, Shane Mandler, Kayla (Joe) Hawke; 10 grandchildren; Destiny, Jayden, Danielle, Hailee, Addy, Nora, Karsten, Bryce, Brantley, and Jocelyn; 2 great grandchildren; Klayton, Kellen and the third arriving this March; five siblings, Mark (Deanna) Mandler, Rosanne (Harlan) McColley, Kevin (Lois) Mandler,  Joseph (Lisa) Mandler, Jean (Jim) Koleske and many other relatives and friends.

Thomas is preceded in death by his Father Harlan Mandler, Grandparents and other family members.

Thomas will be greatly missed by all and always remembered in our memories and forever in our hearts.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone for the love, support and comfort during this time of loss.

I remember how fun Tom was when he would babysit us. He was always up for adventures at the creek and would play games with us.
