Terrence P. “Terry” McLaughlin, age 56, of St. Michael passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

He was born on September 26, 1957 in Minneapolis the son of James & Joanne (Torsch) McLaughlin.

Terry loved all sports and especially liked to compete in fantasy sports leagues. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and trips to The North Shore. He loved his dogs and watching his son play baseball.

Survived by his significant other: Jennifer Stehlik; children: Tara (Jeremiah) Olson of Zimmerman and Shane McLaughlin of St. Michael; his father: James McLaughlin of Zephyrhills, Florida; sisters and brothers: Kathy Nichols of Oakdale, Jerry McLaughlin of Chicago, Colleen Wagner of Princeton, Shawn McLaughlin of Richfield and Kevin McLaughlin of New Hope; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother: Joanne McLaughlin and by a brother: Danny McLaughlin.

A Memorial service for Terrence “Terry” McLaughlin will be held on Monday, April 7th at 5:00 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home.

A time of gathering will be held on Monday, April 7th from 3:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
