Sylvester T. Kolles, age 86, formerly of Albertville, passed away Thursday, August 6th at St. Cloud Hospital. He was born in Elk River on September 21, 1933 the son of Marcus and Clara (Becker) Kolles.
Sylvester engaged in dairy farming for many years. He ushered at St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Albertville and belonged to Catholic Aid Association. Sylvester was a very loving, caring and generous man!
Preceded in death by parents, Marcus and Clara Kolles; sister-in-law, Kathleen Kolles.
Survived by a brother, Gordon Kolles of Richfield, MN; sisters, Anita Kolles, Mankato, MN., Irene (Al) Theis Hastings, MN and Kathleen (John) Knapp of Torrance, California. He will be dearly missed by many family members and friends!
A Private family graveside service will be held at St. Albert Catholic Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
It was great to work for Sylvester in high school during the late 90’s.
Sylvester was a special man. Very determined and smiley. I enjoyed getting to take care of him during his time at Lake Ridge. He will be very missed.
