Susanne L. Oswald, age 70, of Buffalo passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Park View Care Center in Buffalo.
She was born on January 1, 1939 in Avon, Minnesota the daughter of Albert & Clara Bredy Thielman.
Susanne graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School and later from Beauty School in St. Cloud. She worked as a beautician and formerly was employed as a cook/manager at Kensington of Buffalo.
On May 11, 1960 Susanne Thielman and Myron Oswald were joined in holy marriage at The Church of St. Benedict in Avon. God blessed their marriage with four daughters. Susanne belonged to Life of Christ Lutheran Church in Albertville.
Survived by loving daughters: Carol (Leslie) Kallunki of Clearwater, Jennifer (Ron) Engstrom of St. Michael, Julie Oswald of Maple Grove and special friend Jeff Miller & Christine Oswald of Clearwater; five grandchildren: Kathryn “Katie” Kallunki and Kasey Kallunki; Megan Engstrom and Anthony “Tony” Engstrom and Myron Jacob Oswald; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Caroline Kobow of Hutchinson, Elizabeth “Liz” Loeffler of Otsego and James (Rose) Oswald of Princeton; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by husband Myron J. “Mike” Oswald on March 8, 2001 and by her parents.
Funeral services for Susanne Oswald are 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 5th at The Chapel of Park View Care Center in Buffalo. Pastor Highland Goodman and Pastor Chuck Dake will officiate. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Crystal.
A visitation will be held at Park View’s Chapel on Friday, June 5th from 4:00 P.M. until time of service.
