Sophia Elaine Droneck (Conzet) 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Waverly, Minnesota on Saturday November 19, 2011.
Sophia was born on February 28, 1926 in Rockford, Minnesota.
Sophia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Theodore Droneck and her brothers and sisters.
Sophia is survived by her daughters Janet Droneck, Jeannie (Mike) Gille, son Ted Droneck, grandchildren Shannon (Dan) DesMarais, Troy (Kerry) Gille, and great-grandchildren Christy, Amber, Jimmy and Hunter.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday December 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Waverly. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the animal welfare charity of the donor’s choice.
The family is being served by the Peterson Chapel Buffalo.
Sophia was a great woman, mother and friend with a big heart. I was so sad to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. God Bless you all. Carol
Sorry to hear about your mother. Remember me? I was your neighbor from 1959 to 1963 and I lived across the alley way in Mrs.Oleary’s old house. Me and Jeannie hung around together. I have always loved your mom. It was sad to hear she had passed. She is at peace now and with God and in His hands. My prayers are with your family.
