Sharon Rose Boehme, age 72, of Buffalo passed away on Thursday morning, April 3rd, 2014 at Park View Care Center in Buffalo.
She was born on March 31, 1942 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of John & Dolores (Holland) Opheim.
Sharon graduated from St. Joseph Academy and attended a year at St. Catherine’s in St. Paul.
She was a talented artist.
Sharon was a faithful member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Survived by loving husband: “Bill”; children: David (Melissa) Boehme of Michigan, Dolores (Adam) Fretis of Edina and Dennis (Sheri) Boehme of Maple Grove; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; half brothers: John E. Opheim & Gregory Opheim; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents: John & Dolores Opheim and by a brother: Dennis Opheim.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon Boehme will be held on Saturday, March 5th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo. Father David Hennen will be the Celebrant.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5th one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Memorials preferred to The Buffalo Food Shelf.
I used to work with Sharon at Walmart. My prayers are with you and your family.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of Sharon Boehme, the heartache can be hard to bear, the what if’s will come and go but God’s word will stand and his purposes are not like plans of men. “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.” John 14:16; John 5:28,29; Psalms 37:29
