August 7, 1944 – October 3, 2022

Sharon Van Keuren,  age 78 of Saint Michael, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 3, 2022. Preceded in death by her parents Roy and Dorothy (Aydt) Bursch. Sharon is survived by her children, John Van Keuren, Jr (Becky) and Shelly (David) Snelling; grandchildren, Timothy Pratt, Michael Pratt, Joe Van Keuren and Maria Van Keuren; Sister Patricia (Richard) Andersen; Nieces and Nephews, Jerry Terp, Pam Terp, Jack Jennings and Randy Jennings, James Van Keuren, Jr., Greg Van Keuren and Eric Van Keuren, great nieces and nephews and her step-grandchildren. A special thank you to her friends Pearl Kitzman (Don) and Kenda Helal-Brown for always caring and making sure she was able to get out and enjoy lunch. Sharon was the proudest Grandma and enjoyed life to its fullest, she loved to play bingo, go to lunch, fishing, country music and so much more as long as she was with family or friends, she had a smile. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and is now at peace without pain. Special thanks to the Legacy of St. Michael staff who cared for her so well the last 6 years, the residents who were dear friends there and to the staff at Mercy Hospital staff for their care and compassion.     My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Shelly,John and family. She loved her family and you were very attentive to her and so you will be blessed with multitudes of wonderful memories. We had a special friendship and I will miss her but now she is free of pain and suffering.
