October 26, 1936 – November 3, 2022

Sharon Lynn Douglas, age 86, of Buffalo, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022.   She was born in Minneapolis on October 26, 1936 the daughter of Stanton Louis “Stub” and Ruth Elizabeth (Fransen) Holcomb.   Following graduation from high school, Sharon attended the Minneapolis Institute of Art. She later became a legal secretary working at The Wright County Courthouse and the law office of Walter Johnson.   Sharon married Ralph Douglas and together they had three children. She also was a homemaker and the longtime bookkeeper for the Tipperary Farm, South of Waverly. Sharon worked for Tom Lilja’s law office later in life.   She enjoyed arts, crafts, sewing, and traveling.   Sharon formerly belonged to the QQ Club, the Red Hats, Buffalo Christian Women, Creekside Chicks, and Home Extension.   She was fond of writing poetry, driving her red Camaro, and animals.  Survived by children: Christy (Paul) Biss of St. Cloud, Jeffrey (Teresa) Douglas of Woodenville, WA and Michelle (Spencer) Dahl of Waverly; Grandchildren: Logan & Lacey Dahl and Jack & Kyle Douglas; Brothers: Lee & Kent Holcomb.   Preceded in death by her parents.   Visitation  Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 1-3 P.M. at the funeral home. Inurnment Kreidler Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for Crossroads Animal Shelter.
