Scott Richard Klinkhammer, age 48 of Albertville, passed away on June 6, 2019. He was born on August 16, 1970 in Hopkins, Minnesota to Gary and Patricia (Longbella) Klinkhammer. He grew up and attended high school in Hopkins, graduating with the class of 1989. After high school, he briefly attended the University of Minnesota.
On September 25, 1999, he was joined in marriage to Lisa Anderson in Proctor, Minnesota. They lived in Plymouth, then eventually moved to St. Michael, and finally settled in Albertville with their four children.
Scott worked in sales with Kraft and Nabisco, which then became Mondelez Global. He was with the company for over 20 years.
He was active coaching youth sports in the St. Michael-Albertville area. You could find him on the baseball and softball fields, basketball courts, and soccer fields teaching all ages how to play. He especially loved coaching his children.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Patricia Klinkhammer; and sister, Lisa Dummer.
He is survived his wife, Lisa; children, Taylor (16), Kaleb (14), Blake (11), and Kade (7); siblings, David (Jill) Porter and Tracy (Larry) Andries; parents-in-law, Kent and Jackie Anderson; sisters-in-law, Amy (Phil) Gemuenden and Amber Radtke; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Scott on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM with visitation time beginning at 9:00 AM at The Peterson Chapel in St. Michael, MN.
Because of his love of all sports, the family asks that relatives and friends wear their favorite sports team apparel or colors to the service; especially representing the St. Michael-Albertville school colors or his favorite, the gold and maroon of the Minnesota Gophers!
