FUNERAL SERVICE AND VISTITATION ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2014 HAS BEEN CHANGED TO ST. JOHN’S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, BUFFALO, MN
Scott Allen Lambrecht, born December 10, 1969, passed away on December 2, 2014 at the age of 44.
Scott was an avid horse lover, rider, and competitive team penner who shared that love with his family, most often seen at Out West Arena. Throughout his life, Scott enjoyed the out of doors, hunting, fishing, and boating. His adventurous spirit had him kicking up the mud in demolition derbies in his youth. He loved to restore classic vehicles, most notably his blue, 1966 GTO. Scott enjoyed a lifelong verve for lacing up on the ice as a hockey player, coach, and parent. Scott loved to travel and gather tales from the road both in his professional and personal life, most recently enjoying a family trip to each site for which their four children were named.
He married Lorraine Marie Boucher on June 26, 1993 in Buffalo, MN. Together, they enjoyed building their family with four beautiful daughters: Shyanne, Kaycee, Sheridan, and Hanna. As a family, they spent many hours tending their
hobby farm with a variety of animals. Scott worked for Con-Way Freight for the past 17 years.
In addition to his wife and daughters, Scott is survived by his parents, John and Nancy Lambrecht, parents-in-law, Paul and Rosie Boucher and Sharon Barnhart, grandparents: Reuben and Florence Lambrecht, siblings Pam Johnson, Tim (Rita) Lambrecht, Sandra (Chris) Nelson, Michael Lambrecht, Melissa Mack, and Sarah (Joe) Johnson as well as Edward Boucher and Jonathan Barnhart. He was blessed and survived by several nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister and grandparents, Glenn and Vergil Wegner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Scott Lambrecht Memorial Fund at Klein Bank, PO Box 40, Buffalo, MN 55313-0040
