Ruth Amelia Bertha Wagner, age 95, of Buffalo passed away on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.

She was born on November 30, 1916 in Frankfort Township, Wright County, the daughter of August & Bertha Zitzloff Bruska Sr.

She became a child of God when she was baptized on December 24, 1916 at her parent’s home by Pastor C.J. Schrader. She renewed those vows when she was confirmed on August 17, 1930 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church by Pastor J. Weiss.

On November 17, 1937, Ruth Bruska & August E. Wagner were joined in holy marriage. God blessed their marriage with four children: Cynthia, William, Harris and Diane.

They lived on the family farm in Buffalo Township.Ruth later in housekeeping at Park View Care Center for many years.

She was a faithful member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church all her entire life. She was a member of the Ladies Aid. Ruth also belonged to The Extension Group.

She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren! Ruth also was fond of gardening and her flowers.

After leaving the family farm, she lived a number of years at Woodmere Apartments in Buffalo and a Lake Ridge the last year and a half.

Survived by her loving children: Cynthia (Franklin) Hohl, William “Bill” Wagner and Diane ( Donald) Munsterteiger all of Buffalo; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a brother: August Bruska of Buffalo; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband: August Wagner, a son: Harris Wagner, her parents, two brothers: Leonard & Marcus Bruska and by two sisters: Amanda Hahnke and Sylvia Georges.

Funeral services for Ruth Wagner were held on Thursday, June 21, at 2:00 P.M. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church- Pelican Lake. Pastor Stephen A. Smith officiated and interment followed at the church Cemetery.

Organists for the funeral service were Karen Davis, Ashley & Rachel Czanstkowski.

A visitation was held on Thursday, June 21st from 1-2 P.M. at the church.

Casket Bearers were Chad Munsterteiger, Donald Czanstkowski, Bradley Hohl, Brian Kenmir, Steve Frykholm and Kieth Pfeffer. Bill Wagner and Jeff Munsterteiger were Honorary Casket Bearers.
