Ruth Lillian (Kinnunen) Fredrickson, age 86, entered eternal life on May 17th, 2011 in Buffalo, MN.

She was born in Esko, MN on November 27th, 1924 as the second oldest of five children to the late Johann Edward and Rose Melita (Penttila) Kinnunen. She graduated from Esko High School in 1942, and married Carl Fredrickson on March 1st, 1950. She spent most of her married life in Esko, as a dedicated Mother until her husband’s death in 2005. After a short stay in Rose Arbor Assisted Living in Maple Grove, she settled with Kevin and Ruth DeLacey in Buffalo, MN until her death.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her brother, Ray Kinnunen, her sister, Helen Johnson, brothers in law Floyd Huima and Clarence Johnson, and stillborn grandson, Vaughn DeLacey.

She is survived by her sister, Jane Huima of Esko, MN, brother, Fred (Renee) Kinnunen of Prescott Valley, AZ, sister in law, Betty Kinnunen of Esko MN, and nine children: Don (Roxanne) Fredrickson of Alturas, CA, Jay (Diana) Fredrickson of Esko, MN, Lee (Janice) Fredrickson of Medina, MN, Robert (Kristie) Fredrickson of Esko, MN, Carla (Glen) Edwards of Champlin, MN, Karen Fredrickson of Maple Grove, MN, Joel (Maria) Fredrickson of Loretto, MN, Gene (Corinne) Fredrickson of Greenfield, MN, Ruth (Kevin) DeLacey of Buffalo, MN in addition to 62 grandchildren and 66 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and brothers and sisters in faith.

Funeral Services for Ruth Fredrickson will be held Friday night from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Rockford Laestadian Lutheran Church.

Visitaion for Ruth Fredrickson will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Rockford Laestadian Lutheran Church.

Burial will be Saturday at 12 noon at the Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery in Esko, Minnesota.

The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo is proud to have served the family.
