September 13, 1941 – October 23, 2022

Russel A. Denzer, age 81, of New Hope, was born in Torning Township, Swift County, Minnesota on September 13, 1941 the son of Kenneth & Wilma (Staton) Denzer.  Russel graduated from Pine City High School in 1960.  He honorably served his Country in The United States Navy.  Russ married the love of his life Maria Teresa Rodriguez-Gamboa on November 14, 1963 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  God blessed their marriage with a daughter Sonia.   Russ was employed for many years at Honeywell.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, old records, cars and woodworking.  He was happiest watching his grandson play hockey and his granddaughter dance.   Survived by his loving wife: Maria T. Denzer;  daughter: Sonia Steman;  grandson: Dylan (Laura) Steman; granddaughter: Danialle Steman (fiancé Jay Reid); sisters: Dorothy Spence, Gloria Pucket and Carol (Leon) Wipplinger; other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by son-in-law: Daniel J. Steman, his parents, six brothers and two sisters. Visitation Tuesday, November 1st 5-7 P.M.  Funeral service Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.   Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

    I just seen this and my heart is breaking had I known I would have come to the funeral I live in Arizona with my son. I think about you guys often. You guys took me in for a year im greatful for your kindness and hospitally Maria,Sonia, I am very sorry for your loss and would like to send my condolences your good hearted people and I have fond memories and will never forget them or you. ❤️.
