Ruby Norma Reemts, age 76, of St. Michael, MN, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010, at the Buffalo Hospital in Buffalo, MN.

Ruby Norma Reemts was born March 11, 1934, in Mahnomen County, MN, to Albert and Amanda (Hillsted) Ose. She attended schools in Page, ND. She married Raymond Reemts on December 11, 1953, and the couple lived in the Minneapolis area for a short while, before moving to Elk River, MN.

Ruby worked as a nurses aid at the Elk River Nursing home for twenty years. She also enjoyed working at Subway part-time. Her hobbies included softball, bingo, playing cards, and casino trips. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary.

Ruby is survived by her children: Dan (Sue) Reemts of St. Michael; Rick (Deb) Reemts of Otsego, MN; Gerry (Dawn) Reemts of Anoka, MN; and Norma (Keith) Larson of Zimmerman, MN. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a brother Duane (Sharon) Ose of Otsego.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Amanda Ose, her husband Raymond in 1980, infant daughter Georgia Ann, and five sisters and seven brothers.

Funeral services were held at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Life In Christ Lutheran Church in Albertville, MN, with the Rev. Michael Trask officiating.

Visitation was Monday, September 13, 2010 at The Peterson Chapel of St. Michael-Albertville from 4 PM to 7 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 PM.

Visitation continued at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment was in the Otsego Cemetery.

Casket bearers were her grandsons: Keith Reemts, Kevin Reemts, Tyler Reemts, Luke Larson, Tim Reemts, Joe Reemts, and Ross Reemts.

    Norma and Sue: My condolencses to you and your families. I am sorry I was unable to make it to the wake or funeral. We were out of town. God bless her and keep her in His care.
