Roy Veal, age 72, of Buffalo passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at his residence.

He was born on March 22, 1938 in Princeton, MN the son of Garrett & Rosella Stanley Veal.

On August 27, 1966, Roy Veal and Marie Leonard were joined in holy marriage in Minneapolis. God blessed their marriage with two children.

Roy was formerly employed as a machinist.

He enjoyed music, fishing, golfing, his family and camping at the lake. He played many years as the bass guitar player in the bands ‘Top Priority’ and ‘Southern Songs’. Roy was also a huge Green Bay Packer Fan!

Survived by wife: Marie; children: Becky Lehn (Corey Beneke) and Garrett Veal; grandsons: Scott (Katie), Jeremy and Jacob; a great grandson: Carson; four sisters, three brothers; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents: Garrett & Rosella Veal and by a Godchild: Tina Thern.

A Memorial Services for Roy Veal will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5th at The Peterson Chapel, St. Micheal-Albertville Funeral Home in St. Michael. Pastor Roger Klemz will officiate.
