I’m so sorry to hear about Uncle Butch. I got to visit him and Elaine a few years back when he was still living in Seattle. His smile and laugh and sense of humor reminded me so much of my dad and our family get-togethers when we were kids. My prayers go out to Uncle Butch and I send my love to all his family and friends.

I haven’t seen Uncle Butch in many years, but will always remember the great times we had during our family visits.

Traveling to New Orleans was a memorable experience. Even at 6 years old I remember the times at the beach, fishing and playing in the sand.

The times in Minnesota were also memorable. Fishing at first light with Nathan and enjoying a round of golf are still fond memories. That’s when I met all my new cousins.

God speed, Uncle Butch. Now, all the Goettge boys from Port are back together. I wonder if they will be as rambunctious as ever.

    Your nephew,
    G. Craig Goettge

Dear Aunt Elaine and family and Chris, Nathan, Letia Sue, and Patty Jean: Sorry I was not at the service but wanted you to know we were with you then and now. Having lost our Mom and Dad too, we know it is very difficult. Knowing Uncle Butch is in the Lord’s house now is some comfort. He is keeping an eye on us.
    Love, Christina
