Ronald Steffens, age 69, of St. Michael, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018. He was born February 15, 1949, the son of Norman and Alice (Dehmer) Steffens.
Ronald worked in the meat market business all his life until his retirement in 2007. He was a member on the St. Michael Fire Department for 21 years. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom picking, cooking, and he loved wood working.
Preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Alice Steffens; sisters, Janny Steffens, Doreen Steffens-Schultz (Terry Schultz); brother, Dennis Steffens; nephew, Matthew Steffens.
Ronnie is survived by his siblings, Gary (Paula) Steffens of St. Michael, Wayne (Laurie) Steffens of Monticello, Pete (Carol) Steffens of St. Michael, John (Mary) Steffens of St. Michael, Patty (Charlie) Thompson of St. Michael, Jerry (Karen) Steffens of Otsego; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Ronnie will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM, at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael, MN.
