Robert W. Swenson, age 90, of Saint Michael, MN and Mission, TX, passed away on July 3, 2013 after a long struggle. WWII Veteran. Class of 1941, Roosevelt High. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 67 years, Marjorie (LaValley); sons, Tom (Margaret), Tim (Cheri), Todd (Xan); 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many relatives and friends. Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13 at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home, 300 N. Main Street, in St. Michael. Time of gathering one hour prior to services at the funeral home.. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor’s choice.
Tom and Tim and families, please accept my condolences for your loss. This is a voice from the past years on lake Sylvia, Mick Banholzer. I have thought of your Mom and Dad many times and have great memories of them both, and of course both of you too, and the times on Lake Sylvia. The times fishing, boating, swimming, walking around the area with our BB guns. Both of my parents have now passed and we still own our cabin.
Bob and Marj, thank you for all the wonderful times, you are etched forever in my memory. Bob, thank you for your service to our country,
