Robert M. “Bob” “Daisy” Kilian, age 80, of St. Michael passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at his residence.
He was born on February 25, 1939 in St. Michael the son of Leon & Stella (Cardinal) Kilian.
On September 28, 1957, Robert M. Kilian & Charlotte E. Friendshuh were joined in holy marriage at The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. God blessed their marriage with six children Gary, Margie, Steve, Mary Beth, Dennis and Molly.
He owned and operated Bob Kilian Electric for the past forty-five years along with his family. He belonged to IBEW Local # 292.
Bob was a faithful member of The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survived by loving wife of sixty-one years: Charlotte; children: Gary (Deb) Kilian, Margie (Randy) Tiernan, Steve (Bonnie) Kilian, Mary Beth (Steve) Long, Dennis (Kelly) Kilian & Molly (LeRoy) Lindenfelser; twenty-six grandchildren & twenty-nine great grandchildren; siblings: Maurice “Ditto” (Coleen) Kilian, Paul “Archie” (Audrey) Kilian, Shirley (Roger) Loftman, Jacob “Jack” (Terry) Kilian, James “Jim” (Kristy) Kilian & Cynthia “Cindy” Kilian; a sister-in-law: Anne Kilian; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Leon & Stella Kilian, a brother Marvin “Buddy” Kilian and by his in-laws Roman & Clara Friendshuh.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bob Kilian will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at The St. Michael Catholic Church, 11300 Frankfort Parkway N.E., in St. Michael. Father Peter Richards will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 6th from 4-8 P.M. at the church. Further visitation Tuesday morning, May 7th from 9:30-10:30 A.M.
Casket Bearers will be Josh Kilian, Matt Tiernan, Joe Kilian, Daniel Long, Kyle Kilian and Roman Lindenfelser.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Crescent Cove (Respite and Hospice Home for Children) or St. Michael Catholic Endowment Fund.
