Robert J. “Bob” Immel, age 45 of Buffalo passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in St. Louis Park on September 16, 1964 the son of Charles H. & Marilyn R. Cunningham Immel.
He was formerly employed in retail sales. He loved all of Minnesota’s athletic teams and had a hobby of collecting sports memorabilia. Bob was a caring and good dad!
Survived by his loving sons, Jonathan age 13, Nick age 10 & Ben age 7 all of Buffalo; his mother, Marilyn R. Immel of Shakopee; brothers, Chuck (Debbie) Immel of Bloomington, Mike (Martha) Immel of Seattle, Timothy (Mary) Immel of Clive, Iowa, James (Kris) Immel of Ankeny, Iowa & Greg Immel of San Francisco; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; also survived by former wife, Sheryl (Grimme) Immel.
Preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Immel in 2002.
Funeral services for Robert J. “Bob” Immel will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 12th at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Interment St. Francis Cemetery in Buffalo.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 12th one hour prior to the service.

I only knew Bob for a very short time. I was a participant in the same treatment program Bob was attending at Five Star Recovery in Chaska. I lost my younger brother in October 2008. He left four young boys, and was the same age as Bob. My heart is deeply saddened, but I know that the God of the universe, the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has craddled him in His arms. Please accept my sincere condolences, and prayers for the family and those precious boys.
