Robert Russell Walters, age 80 of Maple Grove, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018. He was born May 31, 1938 in Duluth.
Bob graduated from Duluth East High School in 1956 and attended the U of M Duluth. He proudly served in the Air National Guard from 1957-1961. He was the proud owner of Sparkle Wash International in Coon Rapids for 39 years.
Bob was a member of A.A. for 36 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery, and boats.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Lillian Walters.
Bob is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Walters; children, Scott Walters (Michelle), Amye Walters (Barry), Steve Walters (Robin), Leigh Ronsen (Eric); grandchildren, Carly, Lily, Julia, Evan, Morgan; sister, Sue (Russ) Perkins; and many other family and friends.
Memorial service Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM, at Alleluia Lutheran Church/Old Historic Catholic Church in St. Michael, 14 Main St.
