Ricky Joe Jeske, age 56 of Buffalo, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2017 surrounded by loved ones at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

Ricky was born the son of Eldon Jr. and Sandy Jeske on July 6, 1961 in Buffalo, MN.

Ricky was a lifelong resident of Buffalo. He attended and graduated from Buffalo High School in 1979. While in high school he excelled at wrestling and this led to a love for wrestling that would continue throughout his life.

He enjoyed wood working and was a true artist. This love for wood working gave Ricky the opportunity to own his business, Rick’s Rustic Furniture. He sold many pieces and numerous family and friends treasure the wood working that they received from him.

Ricky loved and knew Jesus Christ as his savior and this love fed into his passion for Christian music. Ricky sang and played at numerous churches and would share his music and testimony with any one that needed it.

In later years Rick’s greatest love, other than Jesus, became the love that he had for his grandchildren. He loved to spend time with them, prayed for them, wanted the best for them and loved on them with all his heart. He will be dearly missed.

Ricky is survived by his children Matthew (Holly) Jeske, Adam Jeske and Tiffany (Rick Politte) Jeske; grandchildren Bailee, Ava, Charlotte, Stella, Logan and Jackson; mother Sandy Jeske; siblings Dawn (Dan) Marquette, Debbie (Mark) Ordorff, Michael (Deana) Jeske and Jeremy (Tina) Jeske; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Eldon Jeske Jr.; brother Patrick Jeske and sister Brenda Jeske.

Funeral services for Ricky will be held on Saturday, December 9 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. all at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church of Buffalo. Following the burial there will be a luncheon held also at church.

Officiating will be Pastor Ryan Clark.

Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery of Buffalo.
