Visitation Information

Richard Albert Weber, age 80 of Rogers passed away on Sunday, November 29th, 2009 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 25, 1929 in Hassan Township, Hennepin County the son of Charles & Henrietta Hagel Weber.
On January 9, 1954, Richard A. Weber & Elva L. Zachman were joined in holy marriage at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael. God blessed their marriage with three children. Richard was a life-long farmer in Hassan Township near Fletcher.
He was also a life-long member of The Church of St. Walburga in Fletcher. Richard was on The Hennepin County Soil and Water Conservation Board for twelve years. Survived by his loving wife of fifty five years: Elva L. Weber; children: Keith (Jody) Weber of Rogers, Nancy (Randy) Deisting of Buffalo and Kathy (Frank) Cullinan of St. Michael; eight grandchildren: Mariah, Kayla & Zach Weber; Ashley & Michael Deisting; Brandon (Christine), Lindsay & Frankie Cullinan; sisters: Pearl Buckman of Deerwood and Agnes Berning of St. Michael; a brother: Gilbert (LaVerne) Weber of Brooklyn Center; a brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard Weber will be held on Thursday, December 3rd at 11:00 A.M. at Mary Queen of Peace-St. Walburga Campus. Interment St. Walburga Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd from 3-8 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. A Prayer service will be held at 8:00 P.M. Further visitation will be held Thursday, December 3rd from 9-10 A.M. at the funeral home. Casket Bearers will be Richard & Elva’s Godchildren: Arnold Nordquist, Allen Berning, Mark Weber, Jim Kolles, Michael Kelly, Lee Zachman and Neil Meyer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for North Memorial Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
