Richard W. Thingvold, age 66, of Rockford died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Golden Living Care Center in Delano.
He was born on September 13, 1941 in Minneapolis the son of John O. & Selma Ishaug Thingvold.
Richard enjoyed listening to polka music, dancing and watching wrestling on T.V.
He also was fond of drinking lots of coffee and eating hot dogs.
Survived by his loving brothers & a sister: Lyle (Shirley) Thingvold of Delano, Shirley (John) Jacobs of Blaine, Daryle (Suzette) Thingvold of Forest Lake, Dennis Thingvold of Buffalo and Douglas (Carol) Thingvold of Greenfield; a brother-in-law: Reider Hansen of Sturgeon Lake; twenty one nieces and nephews; and a host of grand nieces and grand nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents: John O. & Selma Thingvold, a sister: Frances Hansen, a brother: John Thingvold and by sisters-in-law: Mary Thingvold & Lois Thingvold.
Funeral Services for Richard Thingvold were held on Saturday, November 17th at 12 Noon at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. Chaplain Celinda Bachara officiated and interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery.
Casket Bearers were David Jacobs, Michael, Ronald, Jason, Brad and Larry Thingvold.
