Richard Otis Noling, age 92 of Buffalo, and formerly of Maple Lake, passed away on Saturday, June 22nd at Parkview Care Center in Buffalo. Richard was born on February 2nd, 1921 in Clinton, IL to Earl and Bertha (Beerman) Noling. Richard honorably served his country during World War II in the European Theater. On March 23rd, 1949, Richard was joined in holy marriage to Lorene Matthews; their marriage was blessed with three children. Richard farmed all his life, but he also worked at Honeywell as an electroplater from 1951 until his retirement in 1982. He loved to talk, go for coffee every morning, camp, and play cards. Richard was also a mechanic and a very talented handyman who could fix anything. Richard is survived by his sons, Dennis Ray (Denise) Noling of Richfield and Richard Dan (Deborah) Noling of Annandale; daughter, Michele (Duane) Raymond of Buffalo; seven grandchildren, Kristina, Jason, Nichole, Clinton, Garret, Kody, and Brennen; and seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorene in 2008; parents, Earl and Bertha Noling; brothers, Eldon Noling and Mervin Noling; sisters, Marie Wright, Josephine Coen, Ruby Leer, and June Roberts. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 7 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo with visitation from 4 till 8 P.M.
