RIchard was the heart and soul of the Buffalo High School Performing Arts Center when it was first built. Anything you needed, RIchard was there with a smile on his face and a kind word for the students. He was beloved as much as any teacher and was responsible as much as any that the addition of this performance venue to our community went so smoothly. He spent immeasurable hours teaching himself the ins and outs of the lighting and sound needs of the space. Although others have since worked to fill his shoes, they were always his shoes to fill and his hardworking and caring legacy will never be forgotten.

Knew Richard from my teaching at Buffalo High School. What a great guy. Could usually get him to tell a joke and I loved that sly smile he had. BHS was lucky to have him as an employee.

Prayers and sympathy to your family at this difficult time. I remember Richard always had a smile on his face. My kids remember him from working at the school. A special man for sure.
