Richard D. Schellenberg, age 82 of Loretto, MN passed away on July 17, 2014 at Mission Nursing Home in Plymouth, MN.
Memorial service on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11 AM at Our Father’s Lutheran Church, Rockford, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Rockford, MN.
Preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Alice, wife, Lois, daughter, Lori, 2 sisters, Fran & Joyce.
Survived by his children, Mona (John) Loehlein, Robert Nelson, Nicki (Brian) Carr, Bonnie (Rick) Neumann, Richard C. Schellenberg, Roger Schellenberg; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Bud (Pat) Schellenberg & sister, Barb Kampff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer’s Association, 7900 78th St., Ste 100, Minneapolis, MN 55439
So sad to hear about your loss. Dick was a nice person and will be missed.
I remember watching Dick and Lois dancing to Credence Clear Water Revival. They were so cute and could really dance great. We were at a wedding reception and as soon as the band starting playing Lois grabbed Dick to go dance. I don’t think she left him much of a choice, and it looked as though he was enjoying himself, too.
