Raymond Lyle Jackson, age 73, of Elk River, MN, passed away on Saturday May 1st, 2010, at the North Ridge Care Center in New Hope, MN.

Raymond was born on August 6th, 1936 in Starbuck, MN, the son of Henry Bernard and Tillie Rose (Feigum) Jackson.

Raymond and Eleanor “Ellie” were united in marriage June 29th, 1957, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in South Minneapolis.

Raymond is survived by his loving family: wife: Eleanor “Ellie”; Children: Douglas (Debbie) Jackson of Otsego, MN, Linda (Jeffrey) Blahut, Columbia Heights, MN, Randy (Justine) Jackson of Champlin, MN, Darren (Kelly) Jackson Otsego, MN; grandchildren: Reanna, Carissa (Keith), Nathan, Raymond; Jesse,Jeffrey, Maggie, Joseph, Joshua, Crystal; Amanda (Chris), Amy (Grant); Austin, Kyle, great-grandchildren: Drake, Cyrus, Bryson, JC, Cory; Tanner, Kaden, Tyler and Sammy Jo;
siblings: Clayton (JoAnne) Jackson, Norris (Marlys) Jackson, Truman (Kathy) Jackson, Dave (Persy) Jackson, Gary(Pat) Jackson, Janice
(Mike) Cruze; brother and sister-in-law: Woodrow (Vicki) Torgorson; godchildren: Steve Torgorson, Cherrie Nycklemoe, Cynthia Estes, Lori Merrill, Crystal Blahut; sister-in-law: Anna (John) Hodgens; very special friends: Dick and Sherry Feigum.

Ray is preceded in death by: parents, brothers: Jerome (Betty) Jackson and Curtis Jackson.

A Celebration of life was held Wednesday May 5th, 2010, 11 AM, at Central Lutheran Church in Elk River, MN.

Visitation was held Tuesday at The Peterson Chapel, St. Michael- Albertville from 4-7 PM and one hour prior to the service at Church.

Interment was held at the Big Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery in Belgrade, MN.

The Peterson Chapel of St Michael-Albertville served the family.

    Thinking of you auntie Tootie and your family. Losing my mom is still hard everyday but now I know she is healthy and happy in heaven along with uncle Ray. I love you!
