Phyllis A. Kirscht, age 66, was born in Coleridge, Nebraska to Henry and Agnes (Backer) Kurtzhals. She grew up in Coleridge, Nebraska and graduated from Coleridge High School. Phyllis was united in marriage to Roger Kirscht on November 30, 1963 in Coleridge, Nebraska. The couple settled on the Kirscht family farm in Ostego Township, Wright County, Albertville, MN. To this union, four children were born. After their children were grown, Phyllis worked as an aide for the St. Michael-Albertville School District for several years where she helped transport disabled students. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. You could always find Phyllis tending to the needs of small children and especially babies. Phyllis was a member of St. Albert Catholic Church in Albertville, where she volunteered in many of the church programs including CCD, mission sewing, and baking for Caring and Sharing Hands. Her other hobbies included doing crafts, sewing, gardening, and baking those wonderful soft, chewy, chocolate chip cookies.
