Salonek, Peter M. Age 48, of Buffalo & formerly of Tinian Island M.P. Northern Mariana Islands in the South Pacific (near Guam). Survived by his mother, Eleanor I. Salonek of Buffalo; brothers and sisters, Mark Salonek of St. Paul, Matthew Salonek (Patty Winters) of Delano, Mary (Edward) Schmidt of Big Lake, Martha (Charles) Moy of Waverly, George P. Salonek of Annandale, Michael (JoAnn) Salonek of St. Michael, Monica (Douglas) Ruzicka of Montrose, Muriel (Jeffrey) King of Maple Grove, MaDonna (David) Robertson of Lodi, Wisconsin and Marguerite M. (Gary A.) Kasper of St. Michael; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great nephews. Preceded in death by his father, George J. Salonek, a brother, Myron J. Salonek and by a nephew, Justin M. Ruzicka. Funeral service 9 AM Friday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, 3933 State Highway 25 N.E., in Buffalo. Visitation AT THE CHURCH on Friday beginning at 8 AM. Interment Fort Snelling. A bus will be provided for relatives and friends to ride to Fort Snelling. Memorials are preferred.

I was very saddened by your loss of Peter. I knew him only a short time but he had a wonderful spirit and a great knowledge of the scriptures that he freely shared with those he came into contact with. I wish I had the opportunity to know him better.
