I was saddened to hear of Peter’s untimely passing. My condolences to Peter’s family.
Peter, good lad, sound lad. In our thoughts today as are Rae and the family.
A good guy – our hearts go out to you, Rae.
We were saddened to hear this news of Peter. Our hearts go to you, Rae and to you and Peter’s families.
My condelences to Peter’s family. Peter was a colleague of mine at CSC, but more importantly Peter was a good and caring man. He will be missed.
I worked with Peter many years back and enjoyed his dry sense of humor. He was a very bright man, a good and kind soul and his passing is a great loss.
We spent many happy family gatherings with Peter and Rae when they were living in New Jersey. So saddened to hear of Peter’s passing and our condolences go out Rae and the family.
I will always remember fondly Peter’s visits to see me with his many animals over the last 14 years. He was a wonderful pet owner who obviously loved them and took such good care of them. I enjoyed visiting with him on a personal level also. He seemed like someone I would have liked to sit and have a drink with sometime. Maybe in the next world. My deepest sympathies to all of his family and friends.
Sharon,
I believe we may have met once. I can’t remember the circumstance, it might have been at a Secret Machines show at First Ave.
Please accept my condolences. I wish I had known, so that I could have paid my respects at the service.
Peter and I worked together at CSC, and we became friends. He called me “Black Jack” because of my dark sense of humor. Perhaps not surprisingly, I am involved with the dead pool that you sent the notice to today.
We hadn’t hooked up recently, as I am busy with younger kids, and he was gotten back on the road with CSC. I think the last time was a football game, his beloved New York Football Giants vs. the Vikings. The Giants sucked. He was disgusted with their defense and ended up firing their defensive coordinator shortly after that. A trivial detail but his love for the game matched my passion. I am a Bears fan, and the Giants replaced the coordinator with Perry Fewell of the Bears.
We shared a love of rock and roll music and attended a few shows together over the years. We were both a couple of punks at heart.
I know he loved his kids and was very proud of them.
I can’t believe he is gone. I am so very sad.
With compassion,
John
This very sad news has just reached me in Wales. I was at school with Peter and spent many happy times with him. He visited me when he returned home and it was always a pleasure to re-aquaint ourselves. I will miss him and his wit and sense of humour greatly as will all who knew him. Rest in Peace.
