Paulette Andree Roberte Madeleine Durand
Age 96 of Buffalo, MN formerly of Prunay-Le-Gillon, France passed away
on Tuesday March 16th, 2010 at the Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo,
MN.
Paulette was born on December 28th, 1913 in Nogent-Le-Rotroe, France the daughter of
Ernest and Elise (Rousseau) Guibet.
On June 21st, 1941 Paulette Guibet was united in marriage to Jean Roger
Durand in La-Bourdinere, France.

Paulette loved music beginning to play the violin at age 7 and
continued throughout her life. She also sung with her church choir in
France and continued her love of songs through the remainder of her
life.

Paulette is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marie-Claude and
Richard Marquette of Buffalo, MN.
Grandchildren: Nicholas Jean (Melissa) Marquette of Haymarket, VA, and
their children Alisha, Cole and Brooke.
Berenice Kathleen (Arthur) Jurgens of Buffalo, MN and their children
Deanna, Kristin, Matthew, Chantal and Tasha.
and Ludovic “Lou” Joseph Marquette of Buffalo, MN.
Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Henri Durand, Juliette and Rene
Quinio, Berthe Durand. Nephew and niece Jean and Jacqueline Guibet.
Many other relatives and friends in France.

Preceded in death by her husband Jean Roger Durand, parents Ernest and Elsie Guibet, brother Robert
Guibet, Many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Casket Bearers are Allen Buskey, Arthur Jurgens, Dave Schmalz, Kristin Jurgens, Matthew Jurgens, Ludovic Marquette and Deanna Jurgens.

Funeral Service held Saturday March 27th, 2010, 11:00 AM St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo, gathering of friends and family held one hour prior at the Church.
Interment will be at the Swedesburg Lutheran Cemetery in rural Waverly.

The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo is proud to have served the family.
