Paula Sue Milbrat, age 64 of St. Michael , MN passed away at her home surrounded by her family on November 19, 2013. Memorial service on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Lutheran Church , 9300 Jason Ave NE, Monticello , MN. Visitation on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 5-8 PM & one hour prior to service ALSO AT THE CHURCH.

Paula was born on June 3, 1949 in San Diego , CA to Paul & Marian (Christensen) Franks. She married Robert Ahia Milbrat on March 21, 1971 in Pacific Beach , San Diego , CA . They lived in Mission Viejo , CA until 2002, when they moved to Kailua Kona, HI for four years. In 2006 they moved to St. Michael , MN .

Paula enjoyed crafts, sewing & truly loved decorating for the holidays. As a daycare provider since moving to St. Michael , MN , she was a “grandmother” to many. She enjoyed going to the casinos from Las Vegas to boat cruises to the casinos in Minnesota . She was also an avid animal lover.

Preceded in death by her parents, Paul & Marian Franks, daughter, Ashley Vaerst and by her mother & father-in-law, Leon & Leilani Sterling Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Ahia Milbrat of St. Michael, Mn; son, Richard (Mary) Rodrigues of Irvine, CA; daughter, Aaron MIlbrat of St. Michael, MN; son-in-law, David Vaerst of St. Michael, MN grandchildren, Joseph Rios, Joshua Bishop, Andrew Vaerst, Jacob Vaerst, Dylan Rodrigues & Blake Rodrigues; sister, MaryAnne (Larry) Barr of San Clemente, CA; uncle, Martin Christensen of CA; and many brothers & sisters-in-law and many nieces & nephews.
