Pattsy Darlene (Berthiaume) Wagner, age 78 of Monticello, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on April 4, 2021.

She was born on March 14, 1943 on the family farm in Monticello, Minnesota to Willard and Lillian (Kehn) Berthiaume.

On May 22, 1965, she was joined in marriage in Renville county to Dale James Wagner, and the two briefly resided in Redwood Falls. They then moved back to Monticello, where they made their forever home at the farm and raised their family.

After her farming days, Pattsy held a job at FSI for several years, until she finally retired from working to spend more time at home with her family. She loved being outdoors and spending time doing various chores outside where she could enjoy the sunshine.

Her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, were her pride and joy; she loved taking care of them. Pattsy had a kind, gentle, and good-natured personality. She will be missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale in December of 2020; parents, Willard and Lillian; sister, Marlene Chavez; and son-in-law, Tony Klein.

Pattsy is survived by her children, Bonnie Klein and Donna Wagner; grandchildren, Christopher Klein, Naomi (Braeden) Nieling, Melissa Klein, Jessica Klein, Dalton Wagner and Dylan Skalak; great-grandchildren, Isabell Klein, Hunter Nieling and Madelyn Nieling; sister, Shirley (Gordy) Griffin; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monticello. The service will be livestreamed:
