Patricia Mary (Smelter) Studniski aka “Grandma Mabel” of Rogers, Mn. passed away October
31st after a series of illnesses.
Born June 6th, 1935 in Gilman Mn. Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Smelter. In addition
to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Studniski, sisters Delores,
Irene and Tina, brothers Clarence and Severin, sister and brother-in-laws and eight angel
grand and great-grand babies in heaven.
Survived by daughter, Lori of St. Michael, Mn., daughter Nancy (Brian) of Aitkin, Mn., daughter
Sue (Steve) of Aitkin, Mn., son Rick (Gretchen) of Fort Ripley, Mn. and daughter Karen (Rick) of
Remer, Mn., 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sister Betty Swedziak, many nieces and
nephews, special friends and neighbors, Judy, Marie and Betty, and she loved her 4-legged
“grand-dogs”.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church – St. Martin Campus in Rogers Mn.
Celebrant will be Father Mark Pavlik.
Burial will follow at the St. Walburga Cemetery.
Please join the family for a luncheon at the Mary Queen of Peace Church after the
burial service to celebrate our Mom and her love of all things ice cream.

Doctors and Nurses at Mercy Hospital for their kindness and care for our Mom.
