Patricia “Pat” Marie Kohanek, age 79, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born March 18, 1939 in Minneapolis, the youngest of three children to Ed and Ethel Krier.
On October 5, 1957, Pat Krier and Les Kohanek were united in marriage. The two were blessed with three daughters and a son.
Preceded in death by husband, Les; parents, Ed and Ethel; and brothers, Ed and Jim.
Survived by children, Annette (Scott) Whiteford, Shelly Woods, John (Tina) Kohanek, and Denise (Tim) Cayo; grandchildren, Daniel, Jenna, Ashley, Jenny, Candice, Drew, Joe, Amanda, Zach, Justin, Chase, Courtney; and great-grandchildren Clara, Jason, Easton, Brecken, Colton, Carson.
Pat enjoyed volunteering at the Crow River Senior Center, playing cards and cribbage, and spending time at her lake home. Pat lived for her family and friends. She loved to entertain and make people smile. Her smile and laughter will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 20, 2018, at 11:00 AM, with visitation at 9:00 AM, at the Church of St. Albert, 11400 57th St. NE, Albertville MN.
