    Dear Kim,
Your mother’s obituary describes such an intriguing woman. I’m sure her passing into the next life leaves our world with a large void. As a cantor having sung at funerals, two songs come to mind. The first is my prayer for your mother.

May the choirs of angels come to greet her.
May they speed her to paradise.
May the Lord enfold her in His mercy.
    May she find eternal life.

The second is for you and your family. I pray that during this time you will experience God’s loving kindness and faithfulness as God carries you though this dark valley.

    Great is Thy faithfulness
    Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me

    With sympathy
