Patricia A. Smith , age 72, of Finlayson & formerly of Buffalo passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on July 7, 1940 in Monticello the daughter of Lawrence & Myrtle Wickum Davis.

On June 27, 1980, Patricia and Michael R. Smith were joined in holy marriage in Buffalo.

She was formerly employed as a home health aide with Wright County and also had managed a group home known as Focus Homes in Maple Lake.

Pat enjoyed crafts, camping, flowers and photography. She was a meticulous housekeeper and loved her two dachshunds.

She was a former faithful member of The Church of St. Francis in Buffalo.

Survived by loving husband: Mike Smith; children: Ron (Janet) Cardinal of Elk River, Dan (Pam) Cardinal of Foley, Lynn (Brad) Schlagel of St. Michael, Terry (Dan) Clifton and Jerry (Amy) Smith all of Buffalo and Brenda (Jon) Dietrich of Inver Grove Heights; ten grandchildren & three great grandchildren; a sister: Jeanette Yankoski; brothers: Bill (Natalie) Davis & Ken (Shelly) Davis; loving dachshunds: Cleo & Brandi; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents: Lawrence & Myrtle Davis and former husband: Kenneth Cardinal.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Smith will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 at The Church of St. Francis in Buffalo. Father David Hennen will be the Celebrant.

Interment St. Francis Cemetery.

A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning February 23rd, 2013 two hours prior to Mass.

Casket Bearers will be Dan Cardinal, Jerry Smith, Brenda Dietrich, Matt Cardinal, Tony Wruck, Valerie Wruck, Cassie Cardinal and Mitchell Blade.

    I’m so sorry to hear about Patsy. My sympathy to all of you. When we were kids, she, Betty Pribyl and I hung together when we visited our MN relatives. We had fun and maybe a little trouble from our parents :>)
