Visitation Information
Olga E. Sipe, age 92, formerly of Burschville and Hanover, passed away on January 1st, 2010.
She was born on November 29, 1917 in Rockford the daughter of George & Hulda Rentz Peikert.
On December 2, 1939, Olga Peikert & Lester Sipe were joined in holy marriage. God blessed their marriage with three children.
Mr. & Mrs. Sipe engaged in farming in Burchville for many years. They also lived in Crystal, Shawnee, Kansas and retired to Hanover.
She was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hanover.
Survived by children, Daryl (Katie) Sipe of Brookings, SD, Rodger (Sandra) Sipe of Onamia, and Connie (Bruce) Frilstad of Punta Gorda, FL; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by husband, Lester R. Sipe, parents, George and Hulda Peikert and by teb brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Olga Sipe will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 6th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hanover.
Special music will be provided by Jeannie Dixon and the organist will be Colleen Johnson.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5th from 4-7 PM. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home.
Further visitation on Wednesday morning,January 6th at the church one hour prior to service.
Casket Bearers will be Wayne Hillstrom, Gary Hillstrom, Willis Kiphuth, Wally Kiphuth, Terry Peikert and Weldon Ebert.
The Peterson Chapel St.Michael Funeral Home is serving the family.
