Nita was born on March 29th 1946 in Camp Kilmer, NJ, the daughter of Elmer and Helen Knight.
She attended school in Tucson AZ and graduated from Amphitheater High School in 1964.
Growing up she spent many summers in northern MN where she would meet the love of her life Norman Week.
They later joined in marriage on April 4th 1965. They spent 52 wonderful years together which brought them 3 beautiful children.
She spent many of her working years as a CNA/TMA in nursing homes where she cared deeply for the residents she took care of. Her hobbies and interests were riding horses, going on motorcycle trips, going 4 wheeling, reading books, studying the Bible, camping, dancing, cooking and collecting recipes, and spending time with her family and cats.
Nita is survived by husband Norman; children Norm Week of Kuna, ID, Brian (Mary) Week of Kuna, ID and Stacy Week of Otsego, MN; sisters Shirleen (Merritt) Montgomery of Tucson, AZ and Julie Love of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter Shayla (Ryan) Nielsen of Elizabeth City, NC; mother-in-law Helen Week of Funkley, MN; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Helen & Elmer Knight; father-in-law Louis Week.
Our family would like to thank Allina Hospice Care of Hutchinson/Glencoe, especially Jetta, Laura and Mary for the love and care shown to Nita and our family.
Norm and family; Thinking of you at this difficult time. You did so much for Nita and were always there for her when she needed care. Remember the good times too.

I am so sorry for your loss. Nita was so sweet to me over the last few years through our conversations over the phone. I am so glad I was able to meet her and get to know what a special warm hearted person she was. It was obvious how much her family meant to her.
