Lloyd and family; Carl and I send our deepest sympathy in the passing of your dear Nila. She was the first person to call and take me out for coffee when we moved to Buffalo 25 years ago. Memories of UMW, July 4ths with Volkanants, and after church lunch at Culvers are fond and enduring. Our Miss Buffalo… charming, kind and beautiful her whole life.

Our Dear Nila – always kind, sweet and caring. We will always remember her through the years as being special to so many. I always took such joy placing her beautiful picture in the very center of our display window at our store (Setterberg Jewelers) that featured pictures of our past royalty and thinking how much she showed the enthusiasm, spirt and joy of having the honor of carrying the title as “Miss Buffalo”. I know our community enjoyed her representing our town. Nila will forever be in our hearts.
