Nicole Brooke (Christopherson) Bloomberg, of St. Michael, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 7, 2024, at the University of Minnesota – East Bank, after a long and courageous battle with congestive heart failure and waiting for her miracle (a heart transplant).

Nicole was born on January 13, 1981, to Karen Christopherson (Rutz) in Jackson, Tennessee. Nicole and Karen spent the first several months of Nicole’s life conquering the world together until meeting Nicole’s future adoptive father, Jeffrey Christopherson. After welcoming Nicole’s brothers, Anthony (Tony) and Randy, the Christopherson family returned home to Minnesota and began planting their roots.

Nicole graduated from Maple Grove Senior High School and North Hennepin Community College with an Associates degree in marketing and management. She spent many years as a hardworking and successful business woman.

On June 23, 2018, Nicole married Charlie Bloomberg in a beautiful wedding surrounded by their family and friends at Bertram Park in Monticello, Minnesota.

In 2020, Nicole became a caregiver/nanny to her two beloved nephews, Kaden and Karter. She loved nothing more than taking them to the zoo, library, parks and numerous other “field trips”.

Nicole was tiny, but mighty and often referred to as “fun sized”. Her petite stature certainly did not reflect her bold, strong, independent and courageous personality. Despite her obstacles, she took nothing for granted. She lived each and every day with purpose and was a treasured member of her family. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, smile and her incredible love for life and her family.

Predeceased by great grandparents, Archie and Bernice Nelson; grandparents, Ken and Diane Sheppard; grandpa, Gerald Christopherson; great aunt, Kathy Brandenburg; cousins, Eric and Aaron Christopherson.

Survived by spouse, Charlie Bloomberg; parents, Jeffrey and Karen Christopherson; brothers, Tony (Jordan), Randy (Linzy) Christopherson; sister, Dyneil Tadros; brother-in-law, Joe Tadros; step-children, Libby and Nolan Bloomberg; in-laws, Mike and Christina Beyer; numerous aunts and uncles; her beloved nieces, nephews and grandson, who were the lights of her life: Dempsey and Immy (Tadros), Mackenzie, Audrey, Kaden and Karter (Christopherson) and Myles (Roden).
